On February 17, 2025, Delta Air Lines Flight 4819, operated by Endeavor Air, crash-landed at Toronto Pearson International Airport. The aircraft, a Bombardier CRJ-900, was arriving from Minneapolis when it flipped upside down upon landing, resulting in injuries to 18 of the 80 individuals on board. Fortunately, there were no fatalities, and all passengers and crew were evacuated safely.
Passenger John Nelson recounted that the plane "hit the ground super hard," skidded sideways, and then flipped over, leading to a fireball on the left side. Despite the severity of the crash, none of the injuries were critical.
